Colin Firth wants someone to buy him -- for charity, of course. The Oscar-winning actor is autioning off a chance to meet him and attend the swanky premiere party for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy in Los Angeles.
The winning bidder will not only get to meet and party with Firth, 51, at the Chateau Marmont, they can rest assured their money is going to a good cause. Firth has teamed up with Oxfam, an English non-profit organization dedicated to ending poverty, to donate the funds his meet-and-greet auction raises.
Potential winners should know that it's completely fine with Firth if you act starstruck around him, because the English actor has been there, done that.
"Ever so often, I will meet someone who I greatly admire and get truly dumbstruck," Firth tells People. "I'm a big fan of the people in the world of music and literature. If I'm a big fan of somebody, I prefer to keep at a safe distance because I don't know what I will do."
Interested Firth fans have until Wednesday to bid on the celebrity auction.
Everyone else who loves Firth will have to wait until Dec. 9, when Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy hits theaters.
