What do you get for a guy who has everything? Well, Angelina Jolie hasn't quite lassoed the moon, but she did buy a waterfall for the love of her life, Brad Pitt!
According to The Daily Mail, the actress-director, 36, purchased a waterfall and surrounding land in California as Pitt's combined Christmas and 48th birthday present, in order to provide him with the property for his dream home -- an homage to his favorite architect, Frank Lloyd Wright.
"Brad has dreamed of a home with the sound of a waterfall cascading under the house," a source tells The Daily Mail. "He wants to pull all aspects of nature, light, glass and varying levels into the concept."
An architecture buff, Pitt plans to design a mansion in the style of Wright's famous Fallingwater, which was built in Pennsylvania on a similar waterfall-adjacent property. The parents of six visited the legendary home in 2006.
"Brad has always loved Fallingwater and his first trip there was unforgettable," says a friend. "Angelina wanted to get him something incredibly special and, because she knows how much he loves architecture, she thought this would be perfect."
The friend added: "This is the present to top all presents."
It sure makes novelty tees and smart tablets pale in comparison!
